tourists taking pictures

a few shots from the 'bay' this eve. the beach looked interesting as the sun went down. i had some time to shoot what i saw, but then a couple entered the frame. in my past photo life, i would have hoped they'd move on. but i just waited and watched, and got a shot of them taking a 'shot'. turns out they were students from brazil on the last day of their trip.
like my last post, their presence makes the 2nd version, 'a moment in time'.

east pender & main

had to return to the east pender & main area to shoot my version of the Ovaltine Hotel. i wanted to see the location under, what i consider, the right lighting conditions. i'm satisfied with my result. the neighbourhood is visually exciting/but challenging to photograph. a few of the locals gave me their vibe. all around.. no harm done.
note: i usually post one image ONLY. i wasn't sure which one was better? / comments?? (that is if you like). thxs.

grandville island

i did my bi weekly grandville island tour today. ended up talking with an asian skipper/learned a lot about crab fishin' on the west coast. he gave me a few to take home for the chowder pot.
had to stop and take a shot of the snow/rocks and sunset on the walk home. i know a little girl who likes to paint sunsets.
