the west coast fog finally broke today. had to hit the east end to shoot the streets.

fogged out

it's been 14 plus days of fog, so i had to go to the archives (fog can be a great element for photography, it just never found me). this is a shot i did awhile back at long beach, on the west coast of vancouver island. a version of this was used for a bc tourism campaign which ran in california. (for my photo pals.. sorry for the low res scan/i just had to post some sunshine). btw, it was shot in the month of january/we were there to shoot the winter storms. humm. we couldn't buy a cloud.

bc fog

big time fog all week. this shot may be too subtle for some, but i like the effect. it's a little bit goth? any comments?
