vancouver canada

funny thing.. i'm getting slightly bored with shooting 'flowers' (m/b everyone is getting a little bored seeing them/my blog is starting to look like 'flower porn'). you know how it is when you haven't seen something for 'it seems like forever', and you can't get enough? then it becomes common place. but i'm not complaining/this part of the city smells like fresh laundry, and it's easy on the eyes. so........ i'll likely keep shooting.... flowers that is. english bay.. again

i decided not to shoot for 'mr. blog' today. went for a long walk, met with a film editor, then strolled home. of course, what i saw along the way was the sun setting and the sky staging to show off. so i grabbed my gear and checked it out ( no one likes a show off). this is a portrait of my little video camera kickin' ass at english bay........

tree

sticking with the tree concept.....

yaletown

shot this on my way home through yaletown, as the light was right.

vancouver bc, stanley park

this tree is in the heart of stanley park. i have jogged by it many times, and decided to grab a camera, walk back, and take a shot. the light was right. btw/ it's bigger than it looks....

vancouver, petal nest

this subject matter may be familiar to some. i shot this same tree one year ago, and went back today to have a look. pretty much the same deal.

vancouver canada, english bay

as it was raining most of this easter sunday in vancouver, i decided to slow roast some lamb, watch the masters, and hide the cameras. turns out, the clouds broke, and i had to get out and have a look. this is what i saw at english bay this eve. they kinda look like the velvet paintings you buy from the guy with the van in the parking lot. oh well, the lamb smells good / gotta go.
