cool day in the desert. headed up route 66 to Oatman, a historic mining town. stopped to take this shot of the RRR among the "teddybear" cholla. now i know why they are also called "jumping cholla". Ouch!

as described on the web: "The full moon tonight is called a "Super Perigee Moon" since it is at its closest to Earth in 2011. The last full moon so big and close to Earth occurred in March of 1993".

sat down with the roaming red rocker and had a closer look at the Monument Valley shoot. thought this one was a keeper.

covered many miles today, chasing the light ... ended up in a classic location. the RRR decided to blend in ....   keep the spot light on the landscape..

had a little "situation", crossing border into Texas from Oklahoma. everything got settled. (amazing how far a pil can get ya).
