The road ended in Tucumacari New Mexico. Had the chance to take a shot of a classic route 66 motel. Here is a brief description, but google it...."The Blue Swallow Motel was built in 1939 by W. A. Huggins. It features a unique, personal shell design on the exterior stucco. Garages, a signature of motor courts of the era, are another unique characteristic of this motel".

Did the gal at the front desk have a nice Marge Simpson stack hairdo and a pall mall smoke hanging off her lip?
