cambie hotel

i hooked up with a few old friends, and some new ones, at the cambie hotel last night. its the type of place that reminds one of a prairie bar. there was conversation about photography, particularly documentive. so in that spirit, this is my version of capturing the street. reminds me of early days shooting the zoo in oxbow... on main.. (sans traffic).

Amazing to me to see the new Woodward Store-we paid one visit to the old one each winter we spent in Vancouver-we could get things there that we couldn't get anywhere else-also their coffee shop was beyond compsre to others in large stores. No doubt the new one keeps up the old standards.Thank you for this photo. cw
