a few friends from the west coast came to saskatchewan for a visit. i thought i would take them out in the flatlands to meet my artist friend, scott. of course, i wanted to take their portrait, so here are 2 versions. feel free to vote if you have a favorite.....

I like number 2. Does it get any better - friends, cool facade, and a happy dog....
k.
yes, would have been nice if scott showed a little enthusiasm.... but that's scott.. i know he enjoyed meeting the folks, and it was a fun afternoon. tia the dog was happy to see us all.
I like number one... the sky, the light on the grain...
I like number 1 as well as number 2..Both are really nice..keep going..

Thanks for the picture--after looking them all over carefully, the one with the dog is best of Lorna and Norman in my opinion.
I vote dog and Scott CJ taxi
I vote number 1. Liked them both but the big sky and wheat got me. Easterner
i used a ring flash unit for the portrait in the field (in case anyone wanted to know).
I vote for pic # 2. But I will always vote for a picture that has a dog in it! They are both great shots.
