well, it was obvious that since i had just painted my deck......... some weather would come in. so i grabbed the canon and fired up the yaris/went to the high ground. this is the result. (a little weak technically but.......... you know..... what i see and how i see it).

The pictures, enlarged do justice to them--a lot of action in the sky here-the storm passed quickly though I guess.
yes, it went through quickly. i'm glad a stopped watching the hockey game and rushed up to the golf club house.

i think what sm is referring to is an earlier 'lightning' shot i did at kenosee lake while still a student at Ryerson.(its posted below on blog in a print format). that shot helped launch my stock photography career with masterfile. similar situation as last night / i debated whether to get off the sofa and see if i could get a shot. nothing ventured, nothing gained i guess...
Oh WOW... that's a great shot... the color in the clouds, the lightning, and the horizon..
