CONGRATULATIONS! to the grand prize winner of the first 'post your favorite photo caption'.
the esteemed panel of judges (me), had to go with JR's musing. but wow, there were so many funny and clever submissions.... now JR, as part of the contest rules, you have to take tommie d. for a beer, burger, and answer a skill testing question. then you get your favorite '8x10' photo from my blog, and then..... well..... you'll have to give tommie a ride home. you're living the charmed life of a winner my friend....

One thing about this contest, it brought out creative writing skills it was a good idea and your friend Tom was agreeable to put himself in for such judgements-- while I would not have chosen the same winner that you did , that shows that we are all different(that makes the world go round)

Well the caption certainly explains why my friend is known as “Happy Holly” sm
while there's not much solace being back in the b pool, i must tip my hat to the talented mr. ridley - and to tommy d for his gracious acceptance of his new place in the glaring reality of the blogarazzi - take care boys!
