i was bartending at the 'bar' the summer i took this picture of charlie. as i recall, he would walk down to the joint for a couple draft and a smoke around happy hr. i remember him as a friendly and interesting fellow. i thought he had a unique face, and asked him one day if i could take his portrait. this was shot in his modest home at kenosee, a few doors down from the watering hole.

Charlie was a fellow I knew from the Kenosee days. His face was one of a kind. Always reminded me of Alfred E. Newman.
