stanley park forest

today was calm, cloudy, and mild. i hit the forest, as the colours really perform under this type of diffuse lighting. for the photography crowd, most of these images were exposed for 2 and a half, to 3 minutes. they were shot late in the day / almost dark to the eye.
the smells were wonderful, it was quiet, and i saw a bald eagle gliding between the trees.

cambie hotel
i hooked up with a few old friends, and some new ones, at the cambie hotel last night. its the type of place that reminds one of a prairie bar. there was conversation about photography, particularly documentive. so in that spirit, this is my version of capturing the street. reminds me of early days shooting the zoo in oxbow... on main.. (sans traffic).

lions gate bridge

i've always hoped i would be under the lions gate bridge when a big ship was steaming by (with a camera, as opposed to sleeping). so i was happy with the first image. i thought i'd try for a secondary shot. i like the second one the best. it would be great to get your opinions/choices. looking forward to your comments. thxs.
