i went for a walk in the park, and shot some of nature's art. i'll call this series 'the ice of stanley park'.
i know it's a little chilly in the hinterland right now, so this may not suit your eye. maybe our neighbors to the south will enjoy...

Ice produces some very interesting shapes and tones. The last of your ice images reminds me of a product I shot for a shop in Toronto! Ohhh, that would give a deep chill
yes, the ice was melting while i was shooting in the afternoon. the weather has been bright, sunny, and around +3/6C since i arrived a week ago. that's fine by me. ('cause the rain is gonna come sooner or later).

Has the weather become colder there or is this the result of freezing in the evening after melting in the day.
You are right about Sask- we dont relish ice pictures at the moment-very cold here. cw
Wow!Those are fabulous shots Doug.
After enlarging the pictures--these are marvelous pictures--cold or not! cw

These look like pieces of hand-blown glass art - very beautiful.
I have shot a piece of functional art that looks a great deal like the last icicle shown
