retread

this is a retread, as clay the dentist would say. i took this last fall for the couple next door. i had walked by these bikes leaning on their shed everyday, and thought i should take a shot of them. turned out to be a birthday gift.

the track

being from a railway family, i'm always attracted to the track. i worked on the section for a few summers between school, but have wondered down the rails many times. this is how i saw the track today. (it's CNR).

hands of color

not a lot of color in the land right now. i saw this on my walk on the main beach to get my paper and juice. was told they had a winter festival, and this is the remains of an art project. looks like rubber cloves and colored water. kinda cool.
