when i was shooting in the park last night, a friend i met last winter happened by with his canine companion. the light was fading fast, so asked them if they would pose quickly for a portrait.
Well, you have made me learn something more to-day. I was sure the dog in this picture was a dalmatian--however, after searching out info. I learned that a great Dane can have these markings . I also learned the correct spelling for dalmatian! Thanks for making me further my education!
Man you are one fantastic photographer. You have an incredible eye for colours and details my friend. No one...no one would see the potential in the stairs walls and colours like you do (did).

What a great dog!!! I love the way you've taken the shot with the almost black and white background and the shots of red.

he's a great dane. the background is one of my favorite spots in stanley park.dw
his name is othello. the sun had set to my back, and thats what happens / the colours will 'glow'. a very 'monochrome' background helps.dw
