Is there some light being blocked in the shots? I would almost bet a train may be taking away from your precious light source.
Wonderful setting and can appreciate how you handled the field of depth.

Interesing Shot. I think it should be a DeBeers ad. Emerald/Cushion/Marquise..you have all the visual elements that lead toward a story. "The guy has found THE RING and is celebrating..the elements are the composition,,rectangle(emerald) cushion (round) marquise (diamond)..Great energy and mood.

Diane and I (and a bunch) were in there Friday night. Diane's nephew owns Six Acres restaurant in Gastown (just behind Gassy Jack) and wnet there after walking around town for a beer. The Alibi Room is a neat place with an interesting history. Six Acres is a great restaurant and highly recommended. Ask for Corben.

Nice shot.
That guy at the bar looks like he knows a thing or two about beer!

We took the West Coast Express into town { train ran double over the olympics} It was fun and what a gorgeous ride into town... only 20 minutes from Pt Moody. Train passes right by the Alibi room. A fav place. Cheers!
