it sure didn't take long for the cold winds and snow to blow into the hinterland. felt like a day to stay inside, but i put on the winter boots and went for a ride. i'm happy with this shot / trying to roll with the punches...

I like this shot, it sums up what it is to live in Sask. Last week at this time I was enjoying a row on a beautiful Fall day (in short sleeves) and this week I am staring out my window at snow covered rooves...

cdm, shooting these shots, along with the 3 weeks of photographing the golf course, felt like 'fall hunting'. the smells/sounds etc.. only this year, the 'canon' wasn't shooting amo.
We like to try and drag it out as long as possible but it all depends on the weather and when Wascana Centre Authority decide to take the docks out - so mid-October to the end of October.

hat really is an interesting picture -enlarged-captures the feeling of the day. We must not think it is the beginning of winter though.
Yes Clay, the change can happen in a heartbeat.
The photo brings memories of waterfowl migration.
Thanks for the nice shot Doug!

kel, yes, this weather might challenge the 'art of sculling.' when do you folks usually shut down and get off the water?
