looking for the moon

this is an impromptu portrait of my friends daughter. it was a quiet november eve, and the half moon was high in the big saskatchewan sky. for fun, i formatted as if an album cover.

I like this picture very much--the colors and the model--also the title-no one can do this in the cities.cw

i also like the way you put the title and the little girls name on the picture-very impressive in my opinion.cw

yes, this was down by northgate / no light pollution out there.... dw

as was pointed out, i should have stated 'quiet', instead of quite. boy, i wouldn't have had much of a photography career if spelling had anything to do with it.
new project! dw

I thought album covers were square. Perhaps the wide expanse of the prairies allows for a horizontal

the liner notes are on the back. its not hip to be square anymore....... dw

Where at Northgate did you take these pictures Doug. I told Pat they were taken at the farm of Jessica and Kyle's friends with the horses. Anyway I feel they are probably among the best of the summer, followed by the cattle and horses on White Bear.
