my sister in saskatchewan went on line, and set up this light design dedicated to 2 friends who are fighting illness. i was the photographer of record. it was fun last night / shooting the show and talking to her via cell at the same time. well done.

very cool shots. I hope your friends will be okay.
Doug is there a possibility you could get a shot of the Saskatchewan Pavillion. in the evening I heard it was gorgeous and unfortunatley a lot of us Saskatchewanites can't get out there to take a look - We are cheering from here! Thanks
no, i won't be able to fulfill that request. keep cheering.
Very nicely done, Doug and Pat--Iam proud of you for doing it for sick friends.cw
Hi Doug! Just thought I would drop a note - I have, like most teachers in Canada....been following the Olympics with my class....your photos have been up on the data projector constantly - they are so real and show the children what is happening outside of the games themselves....love them...thanks! Hope you are having a great winter!

hey jill, thanks for sharing the images with your students. there will be more to come, but i do take a day off from the olympic crowds once in awhile. like today. i spent most of it shooting the blooming flowers in and around stanley park. i'll post a few, and then dive back into the madness. keep checking in!
I designed the laser light show to shine high in the sky as a symbol of high hopes.Doug did a fabulous job of photographing it even though he had to stand out there for hours to do it.I loved the concept of this interactive art project and created another one for my daughter.ph
it was my pleasure, and i had lots of fun doing the shoot.
the laser light show could be the pinnacle of the olympics photo shoot of douglasewalker photography
out here on the island we're waiting for the latest dailys from the master of the lens cj
maybe when your pilot friend gets the oil pressure fixed, we can do some 'air to air' photography. you can direct.
thxs for all the comments. i gotta tell you tho, i still can't shake this.... Overture/curtain, lights/this is it/the night of nights..."!!
i REALLY like that tune (am i loonie)?
Douglas, I think the time has come. Pronger gets caught drinking at the Cambie, but we attribute his disappearance (from the team) to the laser show. Laser's are very powerful as you know.
What do you think?
On the Rock, CDM
confirmed.
Doug the photos are amazing. Pat had a fabulous idea. There is no place like hope!! Lauren
glad you like them lauren. wishing you well.
Enjoyed the visit with you on the sailboat. Your pictures have captured the exciting feel of the Olympics, especially the lazer light show at night. And yes, I will watch my head!!!!!
