vancouver bc

i received a message from a fellow flat lander today / said she was checking out my blog and was inspired (and she's a photographer to boot). that kinda inspired me, so i got out and had a look around. lots of fun shooting this location in english bay for an hour or two. i was thinking black & white all the way, but kinda like the colour version. so..... to get the conversation started / let me know your preference. thxs. !

From my camera experience I cannot even begin to un derstand how you could take a photo like this-but I guess this is what experts do!

Hey Doug! It's Samantha, Merlyn's daughter. Came across your facebook page and then blog, aha. Photo's are gorgeous, I'm jealous you're out on the west coast! I wish I could be out there.

Hope you're doing well,
Sam

have to say I like both.... I especially like the richness of tones in the black and white ....it feels more literal in a sense than the colour. I like the "cool" feel of the colour. jan
