Easterner, i took the following from the net / the water in the bkground is big muddy lake. it's a wonderful landscape..
The Big Muddy Badlands region is located just north of the international boundary separating south-central Saskatchewan from northeastern Montana. The badlands are punctuated by the Big Muddy Valley, a 55-km cleft (35 miles) up to 3 kms wide and as much as 160 metres (500 ft) deep. Carved by melt water during the last ice age, the valley runs in a southeasterly direction into Montana, where it meets the Missouri River basin.
You don't think that maybe they would regret the severing of ties? I haven't seem much of the latest Tourism but from what I have seen its a huge step down from what you've done for them. People pointing, etc...
To answer the last comment--the person in charge of Tourism is in her wrong place at this time--she has many other personal problems on her mind so perhaps her judgement is a bit flawed! cw
