looking for the moon

this is an impromptu portrait of my friends daughter. it was a quiet november eve, and the half moon was high in the big saskatchewan sky. for fun, i formatted as if an album cover.

i joined some friends for a little drive to the big muddy country. interesting landscape.

forget summer arts festival

i took a drive over to forget sk.this eve to check out the festival. typical prairie gathering... run into lots of folks you haven't seen for while / great weather and great atmosphere.

i knew that "tramp" was gonna be in the area, as he's the base guy for the local legendary group called 'downwind'. i spotted him before show time, and asked if he could reflect a little light for my camera. i like the result.

what lies ahead

i'm getting into a prairie mindset with this shot i did about a year ago / in saskatchewan.
